AC Repair & Diagnostics
Compressors, fan motors and blower motors. We test the system properly before we quote, so you find out what is actually wrong with it rather than what is easiest to sell you.
Phoenix, Arizona
When the AC quits, someone picks up.
Mendoza A/C Solutions is an owner run air conditioning and heating company working out of west Phoenix. The phone is answered around the clock, the diagnosis comes before the quote, and the owner is the one on your roof.

Before you replace it
Get a second opinion first.
Replacing a system is the most expensive sentence in this trade, and it is not always the true one. More than one customer has called us after being told their units were finished, and gone on to have them repaired instead.
We would rather test the system, show you what we find and fix what is broken. If a unit really has reached the end, you will hear that too, with the reason.
Talk it through on the phone“They came in and fixed the 3 units that the previous company said I had to completely replace. 5 Star rating for honesty and exceptional service.”
What we do
Cooling and heating, start to finish.
Repairs, installations and the maintenance in between, for homes and for commercial buildings across the valley.
Ductless Mini Splits
Supply and installation of wall mounted mini split systems, indoor head and outdoor condenser, with the line set run and finished neatly against the wall.
Rooftop & Split Systems
Package units and split systems, heat pump or gas, set on the roof or beside the house with new disconnect and whip. We fit Trane and other major brands.
Motor & Blower Replacement
Indoor blower motors, ECM and constant torque, and condenser fan motors. Supplied to the correct specification, fitted, and tested before we call the job done.
Heating Repair
Phoenix nights get cold and heat side faults do not wait for office hours. We cover heating as well as cooling, on the same 24 hour phone line.
Maintenance & Sales
Service visits to keep a system running through the summer, plus supply of new equipment when a unit really has reached the end. Residential and commercial.
Free in home estimates. Ask about the warranty on your repair.
Mini splits
One room too hot? You do not need a whole new system.
A ductless mini split cools the room that actually needs it, a converted garage, an added bedroom, a west facing office that the main system never quite reaches. We supply and fit both halves: the wall head inside and the condenser outside.
- Indoor head set level and sealed into the wall
- Outdoor condenser on pads, clear of the gravel
- Line set wrapped and run so it looks deliberate
- System tested before we leave, not just switched on
On the tools
A branded shirt at the door, and the right part on the truck.
You will know who is at your door. We turn up in company shirts and sign written trucks, we collect equipment from the refrigeration supply house ourselves, and we carry proper test equipment rather than a thermometer and a guess.
One customer called the night his AC motor packed up, and we came right over. That is the whole point of a phone line that is open 24 hours.

“Got a quote from a different company that was way out of the budget, and called Mendoza AC to get a second opinion. They were more than willing to drive a good distance to our home and fixed one of our ac systems at a fraction of the price! Checked the other systems to make sure they were running well too.. when the other company had said one needed to be replaced. Great service from an honest company! Would recommend for any ac services you need! :)”
“I had a local Chandler AC company come prior and something didn't feel right. I called up Mendoza A/C based off his star rating on here and I am so happy I did. They came in and fixed the 3 units that the previous company said I had to completely replace ( they even lied about what parts needed replacing). 5 Star rating for honesty and exceptional service. I look forward to being a customer for any future maintenance for my homes ac for a long time to come.”
“I used Mendoza last year to fix my compressor and fan motor and last night my ac motor broke. I called him and he came right over. Now we are back in business. I will recommend him to all my friends and family. Great prices. Thank u again”
“Marlon was great! He was communicative, and shows me what was wrong with my unit. Fixed my AC at a reasonable price and offered 1 year warranty. I will definitely use him again!”
